Over half of the students at Heyworth High School met the criteria for the 4th quarter Rewards Day. Students had to meet 5 criteria: No unexcused absences, no more than 1 tardy, no Ds or Fs, no zeros, and no minor or major referrals. There were 37/67 Freshman; 40 / 81 Sophomores; 33/65 Juniors and 38/59 Seniors that qualified. 148 students got to pick whether they wanted to participate in an activity day at the high school or go to Six Flags. The activity day included lots of food such as donuts, pizza, chips, candy, cookies, pop, and more! Activities included Wii, Xbox, Karaoke, , dodgeball, bags, ultimate Frisbee, badminton, and a game room with board games such as chess, Catch Phrase, Uno, and more. Student that chose to go to Six Flags got to ride a charter bus and spend the beautiful day on roller coasters and rides! A huge thanks to the Hornet PRIDE team for the organization, supervision, fund-raising, and more that took place to make this day possible! |
