COVID Updates
CDC guidelines have been updated regarding COVID. Heyworth school district will follow the latest CDC guidelines.
1. We will NOT be conducting contact tracing unless an outbreak (as defined by IDPH) occurs.
2. If a student tests positive, they must isolate for 5 days. They may return to school on the 6th day as long as symptoms are improved and they should mask for an additional 5 days.
3. If a household member tests positive, other household members MAY attend school as long as they DO NOT have any COVID symptoms, regardless of vaccination status.
4. If a student tests positive for COVID, call the absence into the attendance line at the appropriate school and the District Nurse will be in contact with you regarding a return to school date.
