09/06/2022 Hornet Walk Packets DUE!
All packets are due back September 6. Please return the packet even if you only have online donations. We encourage each student to help raise money to support our school. 100% of the money raised goes back to the school! 09/08/2022 Join the Heyworth Organization of Parents and Educators September 8th all day at Hornet’s Nest. We will earn 15% of all dine in or carry out orders.
09/10/2022 Pre-K is having a Back to School Breakfast (on the black top playground) Saturday, September 10th 8:30-10:00 AM for all three pre-k classes and their families are invited, too!
09/12/2022- H.O.P.E. meeting at 6:30 in HES library. Heyworth Organization of Parents and Educators (H.O.P.E.) is a volunteer organization that improves the educational environment for students and staff at Heyworth Elementary School. We'd love to have you join us for the first meeting of the year. Childcare provided.
09/20/2022 Fifth Grade Beginning Band Parent Meeting will be held Tuesday, September 20th at 6pm in the Heyworth Elementary School Cafeteria.
09/23/2022 The 10th Annual Hornet Walk will be held on September 23 starting at 1PM. All parents, grandparents, friends and neighbors are invited to participate. You are invited to walk alongside your student/s, line the streets along the route and cheer them on, or meet at the HS Stadium for the pep rally where the Grand Total raised will be announced.
First Week of October-BOOK FAIR AT HES: Mark your calendars! The Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to Heyworth Elementary Library the first week of October! More details will come home with the students later in September.
Junior/Senior High School Events
Art Club will be fundraising through Face painting at Home Football Games again this fall. 3$ per design!

09/13/2022 There will be a HHS Booster meeting on Sept. 13 at 7pm in the High School Library. All are welcome! Thank you for all of the support at the golf outing last month!

09/28/2022 Friends of Heyworth FFA Meeting at 6:00 PM in the High School Ag Room
09/30/2022 JOSTENS representatives will be at Heyworth High School on September 30th to meet with Sophomores about class rings and Seniors about graduation. Packets will be given to students to bring home. Any student not present can pick up a packet from the High School main office after September 30th.
