There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 10th for Columbus Day and Friday, October 28th (Parent/Teacher Conferences)
Wednesday, October 5th is World Teacher’s Day!
October 15th is the deadline to have school physicals and vaccination records turned in. If you have a student in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th grade or 9th grade you must have an examination by a medical provider (Not a Sports physical) and be up to date on vaccinations. If you have a 12th grader they must have their 2nd Meningococcal vaccination completed. Please contact Sarah Bell, District Nurse with any questions or concerns.
Elementary Events
The temperature is cooling down outside. Please be sure to send a jacket or sweatshirt with your HES student as they will continue to be outside for PE and recess.

First Week of October-BOOK FAIR AT HES: The Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the Elementary Library October 3-7. Each class will be scheduled to visit and shop during the week. Families are invited to Family Shopping Night on October 4th from 4-7p.m. and Book Fair will also be open during HES Open House on October 6th from 5-7 p.m. Stop by and take a look!

Save the date!
Thursday, December 8th will be the Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade Music Program and Art Show. The music program will begin at 7 pm, and will last approximately 30 minutes.
The Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade Art Show will be from 6:30-8:30pm in the HES cafeteria.

Junior High School Events
STUCO is sponsoring a junior high dance on Friday, October 14, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM in the new gym with a Halloween theme. The cost is $5. Look for more details to come.
