Please Join us TONIGHT! Spanish & Art Club will be hosting a “Día de los muertos” (Day of the Dead) Celebration Fundraiser from 5-7pm in the HS cafeteria. We will have craft stations, bracelets for sale, face painting, Loteria (Mexican Bingo) w/prizes and street taco dinners! Bring the kids or the whole family and enjoy an evening of authentic fun and food! There will also be a showing of the movie Coco. Check out the event page below:

Heyworth Elementary Students Aim High to Give Back to the Community
Thank you for the support that you always give our schools! Now we ask you to extend that support throughout the community. Your support will help Heyworth Elementary students give back and allow us to be able to help those less fortunate in the community of Heyworth. The donations from the Annual Heyworth Elementary school-wide service drive will help the Heyworth Food Pantry and the Heyworth Community Club Angel Tree needs. A portion of donations received will go to helping the local Heyworth Food Pantry with their annual holiday food baskets and also offset their ever growing expenses throughout the year. The remaining portion will help the Heyworth Community Club Angel Tree provide a Christmas to those in our community in need.

Thursday, December 8th will be the Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade Music Program and Art Show. The music program will begin at 7 pm, and will last approximately 30 minutes.
The Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade Art Show will be from 6:00-8:30pm in the HES cafeteria.

H.O.P.E. will be hosting their annual Santa Breakfast on Saturday, December 3rd from 8:00 a.m. -10:30 a.m. This year’s Santa Breakfast will be located in the Heyworth Elementary Cafeteria and Gymnasium. More details to come!
THANK YOU to our Heyworth families for supporting our recent HES Book Fair in such a spectacular fashion! We had the highest sales ever...over $10,000! This means that our percentage of the profit will be enough to buy our library MANY new books for all our eager readers! Thank you for making reading and books such a high priority.
Junior High School Events
Jr/Sr High spirit orders are due by November 6. Link- Heyworth Hornets
The next junior high spirit night is 11/17 @ 5:30 for the boys' basketball game. The theme is 'jersey night'. Junior high students may wear a jersey and show their ID to get in free.
Senior High School Events
The HS Key Club, Student Council and NHS will be sponsoring a food drive for our local food pantry November 28 - December 2. Students may drop off food to the junior high/high school as well as community members. If you would like to donate and need us to pick your donation up please email cooperj@husd4.org or bruemmerk@husd4.org. Stay tuned for updates to be sent home or on our Facebook page.

11/10/2022 Dine to Donate Event at The Hornet's Nest on Thursday, November 10th ALL DAY LONG! They will donate 15% of dine in or carry out orders to the Class of 2024 Post Prom group.
11/14/2022 Friends of Heyworth FFA Meeting at 6 pm in the ag shop.
11/29/2022 Sophomores will go to Heartland Community College on Nov. 29th for the Accuplacer test that qualifies them to take Dual Credit Classes.
The Heyworth High School Yearbook is officially available through our digital store. You are able to order starting now and it will run through May 1st. There are limited quantities of the yearbook and the only way to guarantee one for your student is to purchase it early. We did sell out last year and we expect to sell out again this year. The cost of the base-level book is $50, but there are additional options for personalization. The yearbook staff would like to thank you for your continued support and we are excited to show off all the great content we have in store for this year's publication.
